Some of his popular movies include Convoy (1978), The Running Man (1987), Necessary Roughness (1991), Broken Arrow (1996), X-Men (2000), Glory Road, and Marvel’s The Incredible Hulk (2008). He was also known for his contribution to The Passion of Christ (2004) and Apocalypto (2006).
He began his career as an editor at KABC-TV right after graduating from Van Nuys High School. He also worked on National Geographic and Jacques Cousteau specials during the early stages of his career.
According to his family, he died of prostate and bone cancer at the age of 79. He reportedly died in his home in Calabasas on April 20, 2023.
