MasterChef Australian judge Jock Zonfrillo passed away in Melbourne, Australia on April 30, 2023.

He was aged 46, and his cause of death was not stated.
Zonfrillo died just when he was about to Kickstart a new series of his cooking show.

Zonfrillo had battled drug addiction in the cause of his life. He had experienced homelessness, unemployment and rejection at different times of his life.

Jock Zonfrillo was a Scottish chef, TV host, restaurateur, and founder of The Orana Foundation.
Born on August 4, 1976, in Scotland, Zonfrillo is famous for being a judge on MasterChef Australia since 2019, alongside Melissa Leong and Andy Allen.

Zonfrillo was also a judge for Junior MasterChef Australia.
Zonfrillo began working and cooking in kitchens at age 12, and at 25, he began his apprenticeship.
Zonfrillo had previously worked as head chef at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant in South Australia, and in many other restaurants.
In 2013, he opened Restaurant Orana and Street ADL in Adelaide, and later went on to other restaurants.
In 2018, Zonfrillo was named Australia’s Hottest Chef in The Australian.
