Matthew Cogliano is the brother of Andrew Cogliano.

They were both raised by their parents Carmen and Teresa.
Matthew and Andrew Cogliano grew up grew up in Woodbridge, Ontario.
Mr. Matthew Cogliano, who is a Grade 5/6 elementary school teacher, was proud and ecstatic that his brother won the Stanley Cup.
Matthew has shown enormous support for his brother.
When Matthew was asked about how he feels about his brother Andrew winning the Stanley Cup, he said;

“It’s been a long time, it’s something that every player works towards. I’m happy for him. He deserves it. At the end of his career, it’s been about 15 or 16 years. I was hoping he’d get one. I’m happy for him because he deserves it – all players do – but especially him with the amount of work that he puts in. It was a great accomplishment for him.”
Matthew Cogliano hasn’t followed the athletic path of his brother Andrew, instead making a living as a seventh-grade teacher in Toronto.
