My Dad passed this afternoon. Thank You Everyone for the kind words. Grateful I got to spend some time with him at the end. Grab yer loved ones and hug ’em close, ya never know how long you have,” he wrote.

I sat with Dad yesterday afternoon and reminisced about some of the good times we had. He was pretty out of it most of the time, but at one point looked up at me with really, big wide eyes and said, ‘I love you, Paxton, keep sharing the music…’ and then passed back out,” he continued.

It’s really hard watching your parent lay in bed helpless and sick and there’s nothing you can do to help them. Breaking my heart. Thankful for the time we got to spend together,” he added.

In 1972, Tim Bachman revisited his career after taking a long break from music at a young age. He collaborated with his brother Randy to add a second guitar to the Brave Belt lineup, after the departure of Chad Allan.

He also co-wrote several songs during his time with the Brave Belt and BTO. Some of them include Put It in a Song, Brave Belt II, Down and Out Man, and more.

In 1974, Bachman left the band after they released Bachman-Turner Override II to focus more on family and work on concert promotion. However, his brother Randy shared that he was fired from the band because he broke the band’s rules – no drugs and no alcohol.

In 1984, he rejoined the BTO along with Randy Bachman, Fred Turner, and Gary Peterson for a reunion album and supporting tours. He led the touring versions of the band in 1987 and 1988.
