On August 20, 2016, he made his UFC debut on short notice against Lim Hyun-Gyu at UFC 202 after Sultan Aliev pulled out because of an injury. He also fought Danny Roberts and Alan Jouban that same year.
He faced Jake Ellenberger on April 22, 2017, at UFC Fight Night 108, and defeated him in the second round. He also faced Santiago Ponziniibbio but lost by unanimous decision.
Perry lost his fight to Daniel Rodriguez on April 10, 2021, via unanimous decision. He also began Bare Knuckle Fighting on October 26, 2021, after his UFC contract expired. He fought his debut match in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in February 2022.
