Did Mike Perry get charged?

Professional mixed martial artist, Mike Perry got charged for being in an altercation with an old man at a restaurant in Texas, however, he never got charged with domestic violence toward his ex-wife Danielle Nickerson.

Perry was questioned by the police in July 2020 due to an incident that happened in Lubbock, Texas regarding an alleged assault. There was a filmed video of the incident showing Perry and an old man in a heated argument where Perry threw a punch at the man.

He was charged with a class A assault and a misdemeanor. However, he shared that his actions were a response to others initiating physical contact with him.

On October 20, 2020, Nickerson shared in an interview that she went through multiple incidents of verbal and physical abuse by Perry.

It was also reported that the abuse became too much that Nickerson had to file for a restraining order against Perry. However, Perry denied the allegations and faced no charges.
