American mixed martial artist, Mike Perry has been accused on several occasions of being racist and homophobic. Some people shared that he used homophobic and racist slurs on people.

According to sources, he once posted a video where he said “n**ga” and was heavily criticized. Perry then came to retort in another video that he is 2% African due to a DNA test he had.

He also issued a public apology for using the N-word and promised not to use it again, adding that he is focused on becoming a better man for his son, Ocean.

On August 20, 2016, Perry made his UFC debut on short notice against Lim Hyun-Gyu at UFC 202 after Sultan Aliev pulled out because of an injury. He also fought Danny Roberts and Alan Jouban that same year.
He also faced Max Griffin on February 24, 2018, but lost due to a unanimous decision. On July 7, 2018, he faced Yancy Medeiros but Medeiros had to pull out due to a rib injury. He also faced Donald Cerrone that same year.
On April 10, 2021, Perry lost his fight to Daniel Rodriguez, via unanimous decision. He also began Bare Knuckle Fighting on October 26, 2021, after his UFC contract expired. He fought his debut match in February 2022.
