Si Jiahui receives an average salary of $200, 000 per year. As a child, Si Jiahui competed in table tennis tournaments and began playing snooker at a club owned by his father.

At the 2022 European Masters, Si Jiahui defeated Anthony McGill and Daniel Wells to reach his first quarter-final at a ranking event.
