Katherine Heigl is an American actress, film producer, and former fashion model.

Katherine Heigl is still active. Her most recent role was in Netflix’s Firefly Lane which premiered in 2021.  She also served as an executive producer.

The show was a success, and it was renewed for a second season. The first part of the second season was released on December 2, 2022, and the second part was released on April 27, 2023

Katherine Heigl also appeared in Fear of Rain, a psychological thriller written and directed by Castille Landon Heigl also starred in and executive produced the limited series Woodhull, which premiered in December 2020.

Heigl has been recognized for her work in film and television, winning several awards for her performances, including a Screen Actors Guild Award and a People’s Choice Award.

In addition to her acting work, Heigl has also been active in philanthropy, particularly in her support of animal welfare causes. She is a longtime supporter of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, which was founded in memory of her late brother and is dedicated to ending animal cruelty.
