In 2011/2012, Jimmy Iovine, according to post on answer.com, Iovine looked very thin and seemed to be missing hair. The post went on to speculate that Iovine may have been suffering from some form of cancer. However, there were no reports of Iovine battling cancer in the mainstream media.

As of April 2023, there has not been any news of Iovine suffering cancer.
Iovine is revered in the music industry as both a legendary figure and a forward-thinking visionary. Iovine, along with Dr. Dre founded Beats Electronics (Beats) and Beats Music, both of which were sold to Apple Inc. in 2014 for $3 billion.
