Harold Kushner wife: Was Harold Kushner married?

Rabbi Kushner married Suzette Estrada.

They couple had children, a so and a daughter namely Aaron and Ariel.

His wife, Suzette, died in 2022.

Their son, Aaron died at age 3, just hours after the birth of their daughter.

In 1960, Kushner moved to Massachusetts, where he became rabbi of Temple Israel in Natick, a suburb of Boston, in 1966.

Harold served as the congregational rabbi there for 24 years and remained a member of the congregation until he moved into a senior living residence in Canton in 2017.

Kushner’s brother, Paul, a rabbi in Bellmore and Merrick on Long Island, died in 2019.

In addition to his daughter, he is survived by two grandchildren.

Kushner wrote a number of other popular theological books, such as How Good Do We Have to Be? (Dedicated to his grandson, Carl), To Life! and many others.

Harold Kushner died on April 28, 2023, in Canton, Massachusetts, at the age of 88.
