Krysten Ritter Partner: Who is Adam Granduciel?

Adam Granduciel is a musician and the partner of Krysten Ritter an American actress, musician, writer, director, producer, and former model

The couple has been together since August 2014, and they welcomed their son Bruce Julian Knight Granofsky on July 29, 2019.

They were reported to be “drifting apart” in their relationship in 2021, and they split after 7 years together. This was later disputed. Krysten Ritter’s rep later denied the couple’s split, telling In Touch, “This is not true, and they are still together.”

Adam Granduciel is the frontman and primary songwriter for the indie rock band The War on Drugs with whom he has recorded five studio albums. He was previously a member of Kurt Vile’s backing band The Violators.

Adam Granduciel was born in the Massachusetts town of Dover. Mark Granofsky, his father, is a first-generation American born to Russian-Jewish immigrants.

Adam Granduciel went to West Roxbury’s Roxbury Latin School. His stage name was inspired by a French-language pun made by a teacher there; “du ciel” means “of the sky” in French. He attended Dickinson College and majored in painting and photography.
