Born on February 26, 2000, he started his career by playing for the gridiron football team of Cegep de Thetford high school.

Bergeron attended Syracuse University, and as a freshman, he played in all 12 college games with five starts at right tackle. He also started all 11 of the Orange’s games during his sophomore season.

He started his sophomore season as a right tackle before moving to left tackle for the last eight games. He was named honorable mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in 2021.
He made 686 total snaps, was penalized three times, and allowed five sacks; completing his career with 39 career starts at offensive tackle for Syracuse as a college player.
Bergeron has also been reportedly named a “sleeper pick” for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was named the Second Team All-ACC and was the third-highest-graded overall tackle in the ACC, according to PFF.
