Bryan Bresee began his football career when he was in high school. He played at the Urbana High School in Maryland before getting transferred to Damascus High School in the same city of Maryland.

He helped lead the team to a state championship in 2017 and 2019, becoming a five-star recruit coming out of high school. He was ranked the nation’s top overall recruit by 247Sports.

Bresee turned down several offers from many colleges including Penn State, Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State, but eventually committed to Clemson University. During his final year in high school, he was named the All-American Bowl.

In 2020, he started his college football career for the Clemson Tigers as a freshman. During that season, he recorded 33 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks.

He also recorded 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack when the Tigers lost to Ohio State in the CFP Semi-Finals. However, he was named the ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year at the end of his freshman season.

Bresee suffered injuries in 2021 and ended up playing in only four games with an ACL tear. He missed many games due to the injuries and also his little sister’s loss. Despite all the challenges, he still ended up with All-ACC honors.

He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 2023 NFL Draft.
