Emmanuel Forbes attended Grenada High School. Emmanuel Forbes was a three-sport athlete in high school, playing baseball, basketball, and football.
As a senior at Grenada High School, he had 49 tackles, eight interceptions, and 31 receptions for 499 yards and seven touchdowns.
Emmanuel Forbes played college football for Mississippi State University’s Bulldogs.
Forbes appeared in all 11 games and made nine starts as a true freshman at Mississippi State in 2020.

He finished the season with 45 tackles and five interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns. He started all 13 games as a sophomore in 2021, totalling 59 tackles and three interceptions.
Emmanuel Forbes started his junior season in 2022. He set the FBS career record for most interceptions returned for touchdowns with six at Mississippi State.
Forbes set the MSU and Armed Forces Bowl record with a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown. The Washington Commanders took him sixteenth overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.
