Did Jerry Springer pass away?

British-born American tv show host, Jerry Springer has passed away sadly in his sleep in his home in Chicago. He died after several months of being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the age of 79, on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

He was also well-vested in politics and began his career in politics as a political adviser for Robert F. Kennedy. His most notable career in politics was when he served as the 56th Mayor of Cincinnati from 1977 to 1978.

Springer was the host of The Jerry Springer Show for 27 years; airing 5000 episodes over those years. He also hosted America’s Got Talent in 2007 and 2008. From September 2019 to 2022, he hosted the courtroom show, Judge Jerry.

He was also an actor who starred in several movies and tv shows such as The Defender, Citizen Verdict, Ringmaster, Baggage, Domino, Tabloid, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, The El Duce Tapes, Dancing with the Stars, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and more.
