Snooker professional players, Mark Selby and Ronnie O’Sullivan have been considered by many as some of the best in the sport.

However, when it comes to achievements, Ronnie has more than Selby. Ronnie has seven World Championship titles whiles Selby has four World Championship titles.

Ronnie once shared that Selby is trying to catch up with him but his achievements are far-fetched.

“I’ve never really seen Selby as a rival because he’s always been trying to catch up with me in a lot of ways. He came in a little bit later than me. I’ve got 21 majors and he’s eight or nine I think, 12 to equal my record,” he shared.
“I have always seen him as a tough competitor. But I would say that more rivals were John Higgins and Mark Williams because we arrived at the same time. I don’t think there’s anyone alive right now who’s going to win 21 Triple Crown titles,” he added.
