Noah Sewell, an American football linebacker, was born on April 26, 2002. American Samoan by birth, he and his family relocated to Utah in 2012 before transferring to Oregon to play collegiate football, where he won the Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year award in 2020.

He ran for 2,316 yards and 40 touchdowns while in high school, totaling 224 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and five interceptions as a linebacker. As a senior in 2019, he received the Utah Valley Football Player of the Year award. Sewell, a five-star prospect, chose the University of Oregon as his college football home. In 2020, Sewell won the award for Pac-12 Freshman Defensive Player of the Year.

Penei Sewell and Nephi Sewell are Noah Sewell’s siblings. The NFL athlete Penei Sewell’s younger brother is Noah Sewell. In the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft, his brother Penei was selected by the Detroit Lions. Nephi and Gabriel, two further brothers, are also collegiate football players. Sewell was born in the town of Malaeimi, which is close to American Samoa’s main city of Pago Pago. When he was young, he and his three brothers started playing American football after his father Gabriel took up coaching the game.
