Who plays Captain Flag in Suicide Squad?

Swedish-American actor, Joel Kinnaman played the role of Rick Flag in the Warner Bros. film adaptation of DC Comics anti-hero team Suicide Squad. He appeared in the sequel The Suicide Squad (2021) directed by James Gunn.

His career in the United States skyrocketed from 2011 to 2014 when he starred in the AMC tv series dubbed The Killing. He made his Hollywood debut with the film Safe House and Lola Versus. 

One of his most popular films is when he played the role of Alex James Murphy (RoboCop) in the reboot of the ’87 film of the same name.

Kinnaman made an international film debut in the United States when he starred in the thriller film The Darkest Hour, with the help of an American agent he hired to help extend his career. The movie was released in June 2010 in Moscow and December 2011 in other countries.

In season 2 of Apple TV+, For All Mankind which aired in 2021, he starred as Ed Baldwin and is set to reprise his role in the third season.
