What movies did Joel Kinnaman play in?

Famous actor, Joel Kinnaman has starred in several movies and tv shows so far in his career. Some of these include RoboCop, Altered Carbon, The Informer, The Killing, Easy Money, The Suicide Squad, For All Mankind, Run All Night, Suicide Squad, HANNA, and more.

He began his career as a child actor in a Swedish opera dubbed Storstad (1990). He was in the show for 22 episodes but stopped acting for over a decade.

In 2002, he came into the movie industry again while he was studying at a drama school. He featured in several films including Hannah Med H, God Save the King (Tjenare kungen). 

He graduated from Malmo Theatre Academy in 2007 and started working at the Gothenburg City Theatre. He got the chance to star in Crime and Punishment. He set a record for starring in 9 films in just 14 months during that time

One of his most popular films is when he played the role of Alex James Murphy (RoboCop) in the reboot of the ’87 film of the same name.

Kinnaman also played the role of Rick Flag in the Warner Bros. film adaptation of DC Comics anti-hero team Suicide Squad. He appeared in the sequel The Suicide Squad (2021) directed by James Gunn.

He starred in the political drama series House of Cards as Governor Will Conway in Seasons 4 and 5. In 2019, he played the role of Erik in Hanna, the 2011 adaptation film of the same name. He also played Andrea Di Stefano in The Informer that same year.
