Zach Hyman left the game against the Carolina Hurricanes with what appeared to be a shoulder injury.

The reaction from Hyman wasn’t great. You could tell he was in quite a bit of discomfort as he left the ice.
The Edmonton Oilers are without forward Zach Hyman , as the forward was a late scratch from the lineup. The reason for Hyman drawing out of the Oilers’ lineup is not known.
“zach hyman is hurt. he got hit along the wall and went off the ice in quite a bit of pain” according to one twitter user named Zach.

After the game against the Carolina Hurricanes , Tippett said he didn’t have any update on what had happened.
Hyman wasn’t in any of the Oilers four lines when the Oilers were practicing.
TSN’s Ryan Rishaug suggested Hyman would be out on a week-to-week basis.
Hyman may or may not be in the Oilers lineup against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Hyman missing any time would be detrimental to a team already plagued with injuries and on a five-game losing skid.
