Did Joshua Jackson wear prosthetics in Dr Death?

Joshua Jackson starred as  Dr. Christopher Duntsch in “Dr. Death” a drama series that premiered on Peacock TV in 2021.

Joshua Jackson’s transformation into Christopher Duntsch at various points in his life did not rely on special effects.

Jackson told Variety that the majority of the transformation to play Duntsch was done practically and by himself. However, according to the actor, eventually, prosthetics began to take over his look.

“We spent a lot of time getting the gradations of the prosthetic so that you don’t really notice it through the first couple of steps and then and then at the very end it’s quite a significant leap that’s happened because he’s internalised all of this angst and chaos and he’s literally, physically wearing it on his body.”

“Dr Death” is based on the true story of  Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a former neurosurgeon who was convicted of multiple counts of medical malpractice and sentenced to life in prison in 2017.
