Broadway actor, Ron Faber has been reported dead. He died of complications from lung cancer on Sunday, March 26, 2023. His death was only reportedly on April 24, 2023. He was 90 years old when he died.

Born on February 16, 1933, in Milwaukee, Ron Faber started his career in the entertainment industry at a radio station on a children’s show while he was in college.

He is known for his role as a political prisoner of Fernando Arrabal’s movie And They Put Handcuffs on the Flowers. He shaved his hair and delivered a phenomenal performance in the movie, winning Obie and Drama Desk Awards in 1972 for his role. The movie was about the Spanish Civil War.
He directed a show monitored by Eva Le Gallienne when he joined the Marquette Players and later the Van Buren Players.
La Gallienne gave him a scholarship to direct at the Lucille Lortel White Barn Theatre due to his outstanding performance exhibited previously; and that’s how his professional career began.
