In 2019, Dejan was loaned to Parma and was later transferred to Juventus for a fee of €35 million.
In January 2022, Tottenham Hotspur in England loaned Dejan for €10 million, with an option of purchase for an additional €35 million fee.
On the international front, Dejan represents the Sweden and Macedonia national teams in international matches. He had previously played with the Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 teams.
