Who did Siân Welby replace?

On 20 March 2020, Siân Welby joined Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp. The Show is fronted by Kemp and co-hosted by Sony Jay as a replacement for Vick Hope who left on February 21, 2020.

Born on 3 September 1986, Welby began her career when she was just 19 years old, as well as working part-time as a shop attendant for New Look. She was spotted by former Channel 5 owner, Richard Desmond in October 2010 when she starred in an advert for New! Magazine.

She was the lead weather presenter on Channel 5 from 2010 to 2016 and presented her debut documentary, Sarah Storey’s Longest Hour on Channel 4 when she was fresh in the industry.

Welby was shortlisted by the Radio Times in a poll to be named Great Britain’s best-ever weather presenter in 2016. She was announced as the face of Barbour’s new Autumn/Winter Weather Comfort Collection.

On 9 July 2018, she became a presenter for HQ Trivia an online quiz game in the UK and made her first appearance.
