Emily Meggett died on Friday, April 21 2023, at the age of 90 after a brief illness. She died surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness, according to her family.
According to her obituary, she is survived by her children Christopher Hutchinson, Mildren Heyward, Elizann Mack, Ronald Bailey, Louise Meggett, Carolyn Goodwin, Lavern Meggett, Elizabeth Jones, Marvin Meggett, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Emily Meggett was preceded in death by her two children Joann Randall and Emily Meggett, as well as her siblings Bernice Meggett, Mamie Nelson, and Marion Fludd.
