American singer, dancer, actor, television host and former teen idol Donny Osmond has 9 siblings.

Donny and his siblings Marie, Virl Osmond, Tom Osmond, Alan Osmond, Merrill Osmond, Wayne Osmond, Jay Osmond, and Jimmy Osmond, were all raised by their parents, Olive and George Osmond.

His brothers Alan, Jay, Merrill, Wayne, and Donny were members of the popular singing group the Osmonds known as the Osmond Brothers before Donny joined them.

Donny’s older brother Virl was born with a hearing disability so he wasn’t able to participate in his siblings’ musical act. However, he still helped out with the family business as he took hundreds of photos for his siblings for publicity.

Tom, like his brother Virl, has a hearing disability. Although Tom didn’t perform much as a member of the Osmond family, he was quite busy with his personal life.

Alan, who has multiple sclerosis, was a member of the musical group The Osmonds. And, as the oldest member of the group, he was instrumental in their organisation and success.

Jay Osmond was The Osmonds’ drummer. Merrill was the lead singer and bassist for The Osmonds and still performs solo on occasion. Wayne specialised in vocals and guitar.

Marie Osmond is the youngest and only girl in the Osmond family. Marie has been a major force in the entertainment industry.

Marie is also a best-selling author, with three books to her credit. In 2003, the Osmond Family was honoured for their achievements in the entertainment industry with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
