Donny Osmond was temporarily paralysed as a result of complications from surgery in 2019. Luckily, he was able to start walking again over the course of several months of rehab.
Donny Osmond suffered from terrible anxiety in the ’90s. He revealed that his anxiety was so bad that it tore him “to pieces.”
Donny Osmond, exclusively told Page Six in a new interview that the “horrible, horrible time” in his life started when he was performing in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Coat.”

Donny Osmond’s anxiety became so overwhelming that the Utah native sought help from Dr Jerilyn Ross, a well-known figure in the field of anxiety and related disorders, but it was advice from the show’s director, Steven Pimlott, that proved most beneficial.
“I was raised with the theory that you as an audience member paid good money for this ticket and it’s my job to make you happy so that ticket is worth the price of admission,” Osmond explained.
