Moonbin has been reported dead. He was found dead by his manager at his home in the Gangnam district of Seoul, South Korea, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
His cause of death has been stated as suicide till a proper autopsy is done.

He began his career in the entertainment industry as a child model in 2004, and made his first major public appearance in 2006 in TVXQ’s music video for their song, Ballons, portraying young U-Know Yunho.
His first appearance in a film was in the 2009 hit K-drama series Boys Before Flowers, where he played as young Kim Bum’s character.
Moonbin debuted as a member of the K-pop group ASTRO in 2016 where he featured on their debut EP, Spring Up.
