Mika Zibanejad Wife: Who is Irma Helin?

Irma Helin is a Swedish footballer and sportscaster. She is the wife of Mika Zibanejad a Swedish professional ice hockey player who currently plays as a centre for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League (NHL).

Irma and Mika Zibanejad have been together for over a decade. They got married on August 28, 2021. On February 27, 2023, Irma posted an ultrasound photo to Instagram, announcing that the couple is expecting their first daughter.

Irma Helin began playing soccer at a young age. She went on to play for the Piteå IF football club in the Swedish women’s league, Damallsvenskan. She was a midfielder for Djurgårdens IF Fotboll.

In October 2016 she won her first cap for the Sweden women’s national football team in a 7–0 win over Iran.

Irma announced her retirement after the 2019-20 season with Djurgrdens IF Fotboll. She quickly launched her new career as a football analyst on Swedish Discovery Sport.
