Charles Frazier Stanley was a Baptist pastor and author from the United States. Charles Stanley was the father of two children, his daughter Becky and son Andy.

His son Andy is the founder and senior pastor of North Point Ministries, a nondenominational evangelical Christian church with several campuses across the north metro Atlanta area.
Andy Stanley is the author of more than 20 books, including Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets; The New Rules for Love, Sex, and Dating; Ask It; How to Be Rich; Deep & Wide; Enemies of the Heart; When Work & Family Collide; Visioneering; Next Generation Leader; and Irresistible.

Since 2012, Andy has hosted the television show Your Move with Andy Stanley. Andy Stanley was named one of the ten most influential living pastors in America by Outreach magazine in 2017. His podcast won the Academy of Podcasters award for best spirituality and religion podcast in 2016.

Andy called his dad a role model for pastors. “Not just how to preach or how to build a church”, said Andy. “But how to get to a finish line with integrity and to be able to look back and be proud of everything that came before, and unfortunately that’s increasingly rare.”
