Why is Neil Gaiman famous?

Popular comic book writer, Neil Gaiman He is also known for writing the series –The Sandman – for screen. It was released in August 2022.

It is an American fantasy drama television series which is based on the 1989-1996 comic book written and published by DC Comics. The second part of the show is set to release soon.

“Scripts are written. We are casting the first episode we will be shooting. Sets are being designed,” Neil Gaiman shared.

Gaiman became friends with comic book writer, Alan Moore who also trained him on how to write comic scripts. He started writing his own comic books and picked up Miracleman after his dear friend finished his run on the series.

He also wrote three graphic novels with Dave McKean, his long-time friend. The novels are Violent Cases, Signal to Noise, and The Tragical Comedy or Comical Tragedy of Mr. Punch.

He was hired by DC Comics in February 1987 and wrote the limited series, Black Orchid. He also wrote The Sandman – a comic story that tells the tale of ageless, anthropomorphic personification of Dream that is known by several names including Morpheus.
