Matt Dumba scored his first NHL goal on October 12, 2013, against Dan Ellis of the Dallas Stars. Dumba made his debut with the national team program at the 2011 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
Following the 2015–16 season, Matt Dumba made his first appearance with Canada’s national men’s team, playing in all 10 games at the 2016 World Championships.
