Author of Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, and Classic Music, Blair Tindall has been reported dead by her fiancé, Chris Sattlberger. She died of a cardiovascular disease on April 12, 2023. She was 63 years.

“Dear Friends of Blair, Chris Sattleberger, her fiancé writing. It is with immense sadness that I have to report the passing of my beloved partner and future wife Blair. We were going to be married in two weeks – alas, it was not to be. For her L.A friends – I will organize a gathering in her memory at a future date. Please keep her in your memory as the amazing woman she was,” Chris Sattlberger wrote through Tindall’s official Facebook account.

Her death was confirmed by her publicist, Deraney PR on social media.
“It is with heavy hearts that we report our client Blair Tindall has passed away. Blair, a concert oboist, detailed her life in the novel Mozart in the Jungle, which went on to win 2 Emmys and 2 Golden Globe for Best TV Comedy Series and Best Actor,” the statement read.
