Robert Milkins is a professional snooker player who is considered by many as one of the best players in the sport. He is seen as one of the most naturally talented and quickest players in the game.

He started his professional career in 1995, however, he dropped from the Main Tour when it was reduced in size after the 1996/1997 season, but returned to the tour a year later.

In 2002, he finished four seasons of solid progress with occasions with last-16 runs, after he reached the last 16 of the World Snooker Championship in 2002.

Milkins had a great strong run at the 2008 Bahrain Championship. The following year, he joined player management company on Q Promotions.

In 2014, he reached a career high rank of 12 and has since been around the worlds top 32 for two decades. He had  his first-ever first ranking title at the 2022 Gibraltar Open at the age of 46. He set the record of being the oldest first-time winner of a ranking event after Dough Mountjoy at the 1988 UK Championship.

At the 2023 Welsh Open, he secured the BetVictor Series bonus of 150K GBP for winning the most cumulative prize money across series’ eight events.
