Lauren Harries, the English media personality best knwon for her impressive knowledge in antiques became a housemate on the twelfth series of Celebrity Big Brother in August 2013. She finished in third place.

Born James Charles Harries on 6 March 1978 in Surrey, England, Harries began making television appearances in August 1988 on Terry Wogan’s chat show, Wogan.
At just 10 years old, she demonstrated a wide knowledge of antiques. At 13, she wrote an antique guide, Rags to Riches.
Harries was memorable to viewers for her odd appearance including the use of bow ties, curly golden hair and formal attire.

As Lauren grew up, she believed she was gay, but by her early 20s she identified as transgender.

She started cross dressing in 1997 and in 2001, at the age of 23 underwent gender reassignment surgery.
In August 2013, Harries became a housemate on the twelfth series of Celebrity Big Brother and finished in third place.
In September 2013, she appeared on Celebrity Juice.
She released her debut single “I Am a Woman” in January 2015 and released a follow-up single, “Upadoo” in May 2018.
In August 2019, Harries made an appearance on the Channel 4 dating series Naked Attraction, becoming the first celebrity to appear on the series.
