Laeticia Amihere has two brothers. Kofi is her eldest sibling, played first, followed by Amihere’s second brother, Benson.

Laeticia Amihere’s brothers are the reason she even started playing basketball. However, her brother Kofi Arloo suddenly died on Monday, August 15, 2022, at his home in Ottawa at 30 years of age.

On April 3, 2022, Laeticia Amihere became an NCAA national champion. In July 2021, Laeticia Amihere was named to Canada’s 2020 Olympic team.

Laeticia Amihere was born on July 10, 2001, in Mississauga, Canada. Laeticia Amihere completed her bachelor’s in sport and entertainment management in May 2022 and is pursuing a master’s degree in the same field.
Laeticia Amihere played college basketball at the South Carolina Gamecocks of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
Laeticia Amihere won gold at the 2015 FIBA Americas Under-16 Championship for Women as part of the junior team. Laeticia Amihere also won bronze at the 2017 FIBA Under-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup.
