Cissy Saint, who is the mother of drug kingpin, Franklin Saint, is played by actress Michael Hyatt born Charlene Hyatt. She plays the role of a single pragmatic and hardworking mother who raised her son on her own till she was later joined by her deadbeat husband, Alton.

In the earlier stages of the show, she disapproved of her son’s lifestyle completely and rejected any goodies from him. She acts as a beacon of decency.

However, her story takes a different turn when she lost her job and had nothing to depend on. Franklin comes to his aid just when his drug business was shooting up in the sky. She reunites with her husband, Alton, and manages their son’s finances and real estate properties.

Season 5 going to season 6 of the show takes a whole new turn when greed, love, and revenge takes place in the show.
