American actress, Elizabeth Hubbard is currently dead. She was reported dead by her son, Jeremy via a Facebook post made earlier. According to him, the As The World Turns actress died over the weekend, on Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was 89 years old.

She began her acting career as a substitute actress who had a challenge prior to her time on set. She got the chance to star in CBS Guiding Light in 1962.

“I replaced some actress who had flipped her lid. They just needed somebody to round out the week, but then they kept me, and the rest is history,” she recalled during an interview.

One of her most popular roles was her role as Lucinda Walsh on As The World Turns. 

“I’ve been so lucky playing Lucinda – a character who could do anything. She could lie, break the law, she didn’t have to be good, and she always had that checkbook ready. Always,” she once shared during an interview.
