Who Is Christian Vasquez?

Christian Vázquez is a professional baseball catcher that plays for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Born on August 21, 1990, in Puerto Rico, Vázquez attended the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy and High School.

He played as a rookie with the Gulf Coast Red Sox, where he batted 21-for-94 (.223) in 31 games.

In 2008, Vasquez was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the ninth round of the MLB Draft.

In 2009, he played 21 games for the Class A Short Season Lowell Spinners, and scored a .123 average.

Vasquez also played with the 2018 World Series championship team, and in 2022, he was traded to the Houston Astros, where he made the team win the World Series.

In the same year,  Vázquez signed a three-year deal worth $30 million with the Minnesota Twins.

His current baseball statistics shows a .261 batting average, 55 home runs and 276 runs batted in.
