Former entertainment reporter, Francesca Cappucci has been reported dead. She died after being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer in July 2022. She died on March 30, 2023; she was 64 years old.

Tributes have been pouring in after the news of her death.
“Remembering Francesca Cappucci, her name itself a melody, who was a reporter for ABC in the 80s/90s and introduced me (and most of LA) to the world of music. Thanks for coming along, sharing a song, and making LA hum the same tune. LA lost a gift,” Jack Der-Sarkissian tweeted.

“Thursday morning my good friend, sister, and amazing mother of 2 boys, Francesca Cappucci passed away surrounded by her family and friends with her beloved Pasadena Foothills watching over her,” American singer, Meredith Brooks shared.
Cappucci’s career in the media industry started in the public affairs department at KIQQ-FM based in Los Angeles, where she hosted a public affairs interview show, anchored and worked on a morning drive program with Jay Coffey.
As an entertainment reporter, she covered several shows for KABC-TV from 1984 to 1998 and interviewed some of the biggest personalities in the music industry including Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, and more.
