DeMar Darnell DeRozan, a basketball player, currently plays for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. On August 7, 1989, he was born in the US. DeRozan played basketball for the USC Trojans in college until the Toronto Raptors selected him ninth overall in the 2009 NBA Draft. He has been an NBA All-Star six times and was selected for the All-NBA Team three times.

DeRozan spent nine seasons with the Raptors, including five playoff appearances, before being traded to the San Antonio Spurs in the summer of 2018 and later to the Bulls in 2021. He competed for the US national team in both the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2014 World Cup.

In his rookie season, he had a 26.1-point and 8.4 rebound average. In his sophomore season, he averaged 22.6 points and 8.4 rebounds. In his junior season, he had 22.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.2 steals.
