In 62 games this season as a starter, Tre Jones has averaged 12.9 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.5 rebounds.
He first began participating in eighth grade, and during the ninth grade season, he debuted as a starter. In 2015 and 2017, he twice led his team to Minnesota 4A state championships.
In a close matchup against the Utah Jazz a few weeks ago, the Jazz had rallied from 20 points down, but Jones hit back-to-back baskets to secure a Spurs victory.

Why is Tre Jones not playing?
Jones has a condition that is not COVID-related. The team has reduced his status to out for a few games as a result.
With his sickness and foot injury, Jones has only played in four of the Spurs’ previous 16 games.
Due to the sickness, Tre Jones will miss back-to-back games.
