Dan Knodl is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly representing District 24. Dan Knodl was raised in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Dan Knodl announced his candidacy for the 8th state senate district on December 2, 2022, after incumbent Alberta Darling resigned. He said he wanted to continue Darling’s legacy of fiscal responsibility, economic growth, and education reform. He also said he would fight for lower taxes, less regulation, and more local control. He won the Republican primary on February 21, 2023, with 52% of the vote, defeating two other candidates. He will face Democrat Jodi Habush Sinynkin, a lawyer and environmental activist, in the general election.
