Tyler Rake, the protagonist of Netflix’s action thriller film, Extraction literally died in the first film. However, he made a surprise appearance as the lead role in its sequel.

Most people are of the view that the movie got a sequel because of how successful it was, becoming the most-watched Netflix action film in 2020.
How did Tyler Rake Survive?
At the end of Extraction 1, Tyler Rake was shot in the neck and fell off a bridge. In the trailer of the sequel, he was seen being wheeled on a hospital bed to get treated.

Extraction 2 will be on Netflix just like the first film. It is a Netflix original movie, therefore, it might not be available at global cinemas like most films. The film will be available on June 16, 2023.
The film is written by the Russo brothers; Joe Russo, and produced by Chris Hemsworth, Sam Hargrave, Patrick Newall, Mike Larocca, Joe & Anthony Russo. It was also directed by Sam Hargrave, and edited by Alex Rodriguez.
