Why did Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid break up?

Chantelle Houghton split up with fiancé Alex Reid just two days after he was arrested at their home in Brentwood.  However, she has not disclosed the exact reason for their breakup.

“Ultimately, a man ended our relationship and that’s all I’m going to say on the matter,” Chantelle explained. Alex Reid had previously admitted how he and Chantelle rowed over suggestive texts he sent to his former agent Richard Curson.

Chantelle Houghton is an English television personality, glamour model, and columnist. Chantelle Vivien Houghton was born on August 21, 1983, in Wickford, United Kingdom.

Chantelle Houghton has previously worked in a bank and as an insurance telesales representative. Houghton appeared as a Soccerette model on the Soccer AM show for Sky Sports.

In 2006, Houghton competed in the fourth series of the Channel 4 reality series Celebrity Big Brother and emerged as the winner of the series, winning a prize of £25,000.

In June 2010, Chantelle Houghton fronted a campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, called ‘Fight Impotence. Go Vegetarian’.
