Sharon Acker Death: How Did Sharon Acker Die?

Sharon Acker of ‘Point Blank’ fame has been reported dead. However, her cause of death was not revealed. She was 87 years old at the time of death.

“My wife Judy and I were very close with Sharon and we spoke regularly even after she moved back to Toronto to be close with daughters and family. I can never forget Sharon’s million-dollar smile. She made everyone she came in contact with feel so much better,” her cousin named David Glover announced her death.

Tributes have been pouring in across several social media platforms.

“Saddened to learn the passing of Sharon Acker, a lovely actress whose intelligence always was evident. She was in scores of TV classics including “Start Trek” and “Mission: Impossible,” and one of her first movies was hugely memorable: the gritty revenge tale, “Point Blank.” Jay Bobbin also wrote.

“RIP Sharon Acker who almost everyone will have seen in one 70s show or another without realizing it. Improved everything she was in,” a tweep named Peter Walker posted.

She starred in the 1981 horror film dubbed Happy Birthday to Me which was her final performance feature. Star Trek fans also know her as Odona – which she played in just one episode from a 1969 episode of the original series.
