Jacob Stallings is a professional baseball player who currently plays as a catcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on December 22, 1989, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA.

Stallings made his MLB debut with the Pirates on June 19, 2016. He became the team’s starting catcher in 2020 and has since been known for his excellent defensive skills and game-calling ability. In 2021, he was awarded the Gold Glove Award for his defensive performance.

On November 29, 2021, the Pirates traded Stallings to the Miami Marlins for Zach Thompson and minor leaguers Kyle Nicolas and Connor Scott. Off the field, Stallings is known for his charitable work, particularly his support for children with special needs.

Jacob Stallings is 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 meters) tall. Stallings attended Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he played college baseball for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

In 2009 and 2010, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
