Roger Clemens Wife: Meet Debra Lynn Godfrey

Debra Lynn Godfrey is the wife of Roger Clemens a retired American professional baseball player who played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for 24 seasons from 1984 to 2007.

Roger Clemens married his wife Debra Lynn Godfrey on November 24, 1984. The couple has four children together.

Debra once left a Red Sox game in tears after being heckled by fans. This is documented in an updated edition of Dan Shaughnessy’s best-selling book, Curse of the Bambino.

Debra was quoted in the book as saying that it was the poor attitude of Red Sox fans that prevented the team from winning the World Series (this was prior to the Red Sox’ 2004 World Series victory).

Debra and her husband posed in a bikini for a Sports Illustrated cover story about athletes and their wives. This appeared in the 2003 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Roger was dressed in his Yankees uniform, with his jersey open.
