Linda Thorson Second Husband: Meet Cyril J. Smith

Cyril J. Smith is a businessman who was the second husband of Linda Thorson. The couple got married at Bloor St. United Church in 1979. However, they divorced in 1981.

Linda Thorson played Julia Wheaton Medina in the daytime drama One Life to Live from 1989 to 1992.

Linda Thorson starred as Isabel in the Canadian series Emily of New Moon from 1998 to 2000. She starred as a Supreme Court Justice in the 2002 film Half Past Dead, alongside Steven Seagal and Ja Rule, and in the 2006 action sequel Max Havoc: Ring of Fire.

Linda Thorson portrayed the villainous Rosemary King in the ITV series Emmerdale from 2006 to 2007.

She also played Hester Salomon opposite Simon Callow in a UK tour of Equus.  In the summer of 2008, she performed in the Lerner & Loewe musical Gigi at the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park.

Thorson appeared in Tracy Letts’ play August: Osage County, about a dysfunctional family in Oklahoma, in 2013. She was set to appear in Jon Robin Baitz’s play Other Desert Cities in 2014. Thorson produced The Goodbye Bird, a new stage play written by Colleen Murphy, in 2013.
